Greetings from sunny Belgrade! :)
Greetings dear forum members!
I am Stefan from Belgrade, capital of Serbia. Currently, I ride SCOTT Z4 bicycle.
I enjoy cycling, I cycle since my elementary school. Currently, I am on Faculty of Law.
I would like to go by bike anywhere, anytime. That`s why I decided to buy folding bike. In my country there is saying "Shop quickly, regret slowly".
In order to avoid this saying, get good advice and find right bike for me, I`ve registered on this forum.
Cheers!

Welcome to the forum.
What kind of law do you teach?
I am old enough to remember when Tito was President and Belgrade was the capital of Yogoslavia.
How popular is bike riding in Belgrade? Is the traffic safe for cyclists?
Again, welcome!

Thanks for warm welcome! I don`t teach Law, I am still a student.
In past two years, cycling popularity increased. Especially in spring and summer time.
Fact that lately city provided bike parking spots around city significantly influenced on increasing popularity of cycling in Belgrade.. Still, cycling isn`t safe enough in Belgrade. We still don`t have cycling track through whole city. But we hope that it will be built till the end of this year.
Some cities in Serbia, like Subotica, have public bicycles and parking spots around town. Belgrade is hilly city, so riding around Belgrade on bicycle without speed is mission impossible.
We, in Belgrade, have one interesting tour, mainly intended for tourists. It`s called "I bike Belgrade". You got chance to do city tour on bike.
Since, Belgrade is capital, traffic jam is usual and that`s why I think that folding bikes are invented for cities like Belgrade.
Yes, I visited Folding Bikes sub-forum and got there some useful hints.
