Ayo!
Greetings Bike Forums community! New kid on the block here.... Well.. not too new.. and not really a kid...lol Just back into riding again since July 2012 & I live in LA. 
I was the kid that didn't ride much BMX.. only 10 speeds and fixed gear cruisers... i just recently decided to get back into riding because I really needed some physical fitness in my life. So... I bought a fixie. I'm a newbie when it comes to these types of bikes but, I immediately felt like I reconnected with a long lost girlfriend upon my first ride.
Anytime I search google for cycling stuff, this forum is always top pick so, I thought I'd join, share and learn at the same time! I look forward to the interaction.

It's really interesting to see that 132 people hit this thread (THE ADMINISTRATOR asks you to be respectful and introduce yourself for crying out loud) but only TWO people responded. (& I thank you) Being totally 100, It truly hipped me to what was really happening here. wow.

Well, to be fair, not everyone who views a thread has the capacity to post in it. We tend to have a lot of 'lurkers', which are either members who aren't logged in or just people who just discovered the site and just looking around.
