hi from new york, ny/ taipei, taiwan!
hey all!
i started riding a few years ago with my first road bike built by a couple of guys in nyc. it's single speed with an aluminum frame. i ride to work and also recreationally, usually along the hudson river, but i also love to explore small streets and neighborhoods! i don't know much about bikes but i'm determined to learn more this year.
i'm currently in taipei, taiwan on a life hiatus and have been itching to ride for weeks now. through a friend, i found a bike shop and purchased a vintage colnago on the spot (i needed a bike then and there and it was one of two they had in my size). i'm here on this site to chat with other riders to learn more about road bikes/ fixies, find some nice trails, and also to identify this colnago that had been painted over so feminine beyond recognition!!

Hello Jenny. Welcome to the group. There's a Classic and Vintage subforum where you can find any answer you need for a vintage Colnago. Post some photos over there. In case you're interested, NY is getting pounded by yet another late winter storm and I have a foot of snow since yesterday! So no riding here today, unless it's indoors.

Hi Jenny,
I'm also in Taiwan (but Kaohsiung) and there are a lot of great mountain roads to ride in Taiwan. Have fun. Kirk

Hello and welcome to BF, Jenny, NY and Taipei is quite a long way for a life hiatus!!
as said, check in at the Classic and Vintage Forum for help with your Colnago. Post your questions with some good pictures, drive side showing, front and rear and the serial number if it is legible and the guys and gals there can help you out, they are great people.
