just another newbe
Hi all,
So I am new to commuting three rides new. Just got a electric bike (I go) and thought it would be a great way to start to get into shape and strengthen my knee from sergery last November. My commute is about 5 miles one way not bad for a commute but challenging for me since I am overweight and out of shape. I am finding out that cars don't care if your on the road and may run you over, if you go to fast down a steep hill your wheel wobbles and is scary as hell, hills are fun and dreadfull even with an electric bike, saddles are truly not your friend and commuting its terribly addictive. I have a small dog who I look forward to taking on my bike and I am already thinking about a non electric bike, when I am fitter of coarse.
