Greetings from the nickle and dime
HI
Cyclist from Norther California, Oakland-east bay native here. not very fast, but definitely not slow. First got into road bikes in 1998 at the age of 23. cat 4 experience and rode for a local frame builder and got mad deals on parts and custom frames (shout out to sycip cycles) I used to ride the spectrum ride, around the palo alto area (a really fast group ride up in Ncal) and climb kings mountain afterwards, never got dropped on the spectrum ride but I also used to take mini thins (ephedrine) so i was a lot faster than i was supposed to be. maybe i will reconnect with dudes that i rode with back then on this forum!
anyway, fast forward to 2013. i took a long break from cycling 2002-2009 and have steadily been getting my legs back; without the taking the legal 1990's amphetamines.
I mostly just love bicycles and want to be fit enough to use push to their minimal capacity and my maximum capacity
here is my bike that i have put together over the last three years in my 2009 return for the love of bicycles, and riding them.

Nice pic's Norcal rider El Chente! Looks sharp. YEAH-its best to just let your body provide the power these days. You don't want a Lance reputation!
