Where to buy

Hey All Y'all,
This is my first time post to the forum. I'm looking to buy some gear and maybe a new road bike. I live in a small town with no bike shop. Are there any good stores online to buy from?
Thanks,
Jordan

Other than Amazon? Sure. We have a Retailer Feedback forum that will help identify places to be wary of.

BikesDirect is a decent online source for bikes.

Hi Jordan, lots of good reputable on-line bicycle stores to use. I will use some of them like Amazon, that No1mad said, Nashbar, Ribble (in the UK), and a few others, for components and consumables for my bike. I'll second using the review sub-forum to get the ones to avoid. No matter which discipline you ride its great to have you join us here at BF.

Competitive Cyclist

Thanks for the responses. Seems like a good forum. Has anyone bought from Competitive Cyclist? I'm thinking about ordering from them.

I bought two bikes from them.

You need to know your size.

Bikes come neatly packed.

Don't forget - Every small town has a Pawn Shop near by...

Be selective - I once bought three bikes for less than $40.00 and managed to put together one nice PUCH...
