Hi All,
I am a 40yr old Male from Edinburgh. My name is Jason and I used to be a very keen road cyclist for many years, but married young and just never found the time. 2 Years ago I bought myself a nice new road bike Fuji Roubaix 1 and use it to commute my 30 mile round trip to work on a daily basis. I find 150 miles a week enough, and spend my weekend cycle free with my family. I visited a car boot sale a few weeks ago, and seen a lovely frame, i fell in love with it and ended up popping it in the back of the car. I intend to use it as my winter commuter, and have since dropped some Flat bars on it and popped some Mexico 68 rims with Campag hubs on (I borrowed these from my dads old bike, which has been sat rusting away at the back of the garage for years). I am unsure who manufactured the bike, so I have dropped a photo below, the only markings is the logo on the forks...Ive tried searching for it on google but had no luck. I'm calling on you guys knowledge and experience to help me out please. http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=325457 Many thanks Jason |
Hello Jason,
Welcome to Bike Forums. Photos of the whole bike, crank set, bars brakes would be much help. |

Hello Jason, great to have a Scotsman join us here. Married young too, both 19 and got her on to bikes with me, that took care of that problem. Your Fuji sounds really nice, must be a nice daily commuter to ride. The new frame you picked up at the boot sale looks pretty good in your pictures, very nice build there. The Classic and Vintage Forum might be able to help you with the identification of it, post the pictures there and if you have found it, the serial number in a picture, too. They are a really knowledgeable group there, good blokes all. Surf the forums and find the ones you like, Road Cycling and Commuting Forums may be good to start with. Best wishes with your new frame and build, take care.

Nice lookin' auld frame there pal. I dinna ken the logo and ye cannae google a logo can ye? The respray seems well executed though. I'm from Glasgow but if you promise not to hold that against me I'll not make unkind remarks about the fact you're from Embra! (Glaswegian for Edinburgh).
