New guy from Singapore

I've looked at the forum for some time as a source of info for classic bike refurbs, and finally got round to registering.

Hello Alex, welcome to BF, great to have you with us here. How is the riding in Singapore? We've not had many members from there, that I can recall, but that could be my old, addled brain acting up again. Hope you enjoy the site and its forums.

Riding here is hot and humid - but you get used to it. Early morning road biking is very popular in Singapore.

It's pretty flat, but there's a few interesting roads through the rainforest, where you'll occasionally see a few macaques or a monitor lizard.

I'm not fit enough for it, but the off-road riding here should be great.

The climate sounds much like my home's climate, in Pensacola, Florida (southeastern U.S., on the Gulf of Mexico) with the hot and humid conditions. Flat here too, nothing to climb, just some rolling hills to ride on. The rainforest sounds like it would be interesting to tour, the wildlife seems very exotic.
