Born and raised in Colorado, riding bikes and drinking beer in Chicago [=
I had to join this forum because it is so useful to me. I have never joined an online forum before but this one constantly helps me as a growing mechanic. The people on here are so informative and helpful, much like the bicycle community in general. I am a bicycle mechanic. I have worked professionally and for non profits. However I have always found there are new things to learn, and this forum has helped me so much with that. I currently have a regular job at whole foods that pays pretty well, so my old days of being a professional bicycle mechanic are gone. I still like donating my time and skills, and with this forum I would like to hopefully give back to the community that helps me so much. I still have a professional shop in my home, so I never stop tinkering and often help those around me with their bikes, as well as pimp out my own. I only charge a six pack lol. I also enjoy cyclocross and randonneuring to breweries [= I am going to the Fattic frame-building school and UBI this summer and hope to move back to Colorado and become a custom frame-builder, maybe even on a larger scale and have an employee owned company. Either way I want to make bikes my life, and live by the bicycle code! If i do that I know I can die happy.
So say we all
