Hey there, everyone. Sup?
Hi everyone. I'm 45 year old guy in Los Angeles and I ride every day 5 - 50 miles. I started to ride a few years ago when my shiny black car became regular resident at the mechanic and I was looking for a cheap way to get to work. As my car trouble mounted I found myself waiting longer and longer to get it fixed as riding to work and the local pub was just so fun and easy. Eventually I sold the car and replaced it with a Purefix single speed with an upgraded crankset, bottom bracket and freewheel. I couldn't be happier.
Now I'm getting an itch to build a bike at home. Yesterday I purchased a late 70's Takara frame from my local bike shop for $30 and I'm ready to start stripping paint. I'm looking forward to the BikeForums community helping me with my project. |
