Hey Guys!!

What's up everyone? I'm Louis. I live in Lake Charles, La and am just getting into cycling. I decided I wanted a road bike on a whim, but didn't know if I would enjoy it enough to justify a quality bike. I ended up going the Wal Mart route with a Schwinn Varsity. After some youtube-ing, I got it somewhat comfortable to ride and less than somewhat tuned haha. After putting 150 or so miles, I knew I was hooked and that I needed a better bike. I also needed one that fit me. After a ton more research, I ordered a 2013 Specialized Allez Elite 52cm from the LBS. I've only been able to take 3 rides with it, but I'm already up to 75 miles. I absolutely love it! I've also started looking into triathlon racing and road racing. I'm still new to this sport, but I'm a total sponge right now learning as much as I can about everything. Hopefully with the help of this forum, I'll pick up a ton of knowledge.

Here's my stable so far:

Thanks for looking! I know that most people don't check out the "introduction" threads on forums lol.

Welcome! You don't need to best to enjoy riding, but as you've found out it's more fun with something decent that fits. The more miles you do, the more important a good fit is.
