Hey, From Santa Cruz CA

I'm just some weirdo artist from Santa Cruz.
I'm and enthusiast of all forms of cycling (except the unicycle variety... Not that it isn't cool, I'm just not any good at it.)
I'm a comic book artist, cartoonist, painter, sculptor, and metal fabricator. I build custom freak bikes (Atomic Zombie has nothing on me) and I have a certain knack for modding vintage game consoles.
I have more bikes than I know what to do with. Nearly every flavor is represented in my stable.
I've recently developed a strong interest in velomobiles (don't want to abandon cycling during the winter) so I'm in the process of building one.

Stuff and things and other crap.
Cool to be here.

Greetings!
Los Gatos, eh? I ride around that area on the weekends. Keep an eye out for a lime green SS Schwinn Le Tour being ridden by some weird lookin' guy.

Weird looking or no, you should be pretty easy to spot in Los Gatos. Other than beach cruisers and the occasional DUI on a rusty mountain bike that wandered over from Campbell, vintage steel isn't exactly common in Los Gatos. This is the land of yuppies on Cervelos.

I'll be the only guy in town on a steel road bike with derailleurs

Word up. My grandparents live there... I am quite the novelty to their high brow friends, and they do act a little snobbish towards me. But, they occasionally buy paintings from me, so I can't really bag on them.
Your bike says "Team Fuji"... is that the alternate title for the Allegro Sport?

Nah. The Allegro was more of a low-end sport-touring bike, not bottom of the line-up, but pretty close. The Team was aimed at entry level racers. The two weren't always produced at the same time, either.

"The more you know"
I used you have an Allegro, and it was very acceptable to ride. A little on the heavy side, but it had good geometry and handled well.
