Howdy form Southern Michigan

Hello, I'm a newbie here. I just needed to get a bit back in shape and some friends had bought bikes for the same reasons, with great success.

At 6-foot 3-inches and about 285 lbs. I need to get busy.

I just purchased a metal-flake green Trek FX 1, hence my username and have been trying to get a ride in nightly of about 10 mies in some super-hilly terrain. It takes me about an hour to complete a ride, but it's a very competitive cadence for me.

My bike is pretty much stock with an added bottle cage, computer and front and rear lights. I hope to join y'all in becoming a rider, maybe someday I'll fit into some Spandex. hahahaha

Come on up to Paw Paw I have routes around the area that are easy or a little hilly depending on which direction you choose to ride them.
