Hello
Newbie to the forums but not a newbie when it comes to bikes. I've been fixing my bikes since I was a kid, so I know a little bit here and there
. I have been reading through posts on these forums for a while and finally decided to register.
I ride steel diamond shaped ridgid frames almost exlusively, and especially like converting old mountainbikes for commutter / all weather use.
My favourite bike and current setup is a Scott Tonapah with Exage components, 26 wheels with slicks, and 60mm fenders to allow wider mtb tires.
Some bikes I have gone through over the years:
ATX 970 Downhill Norba mtb full suspension
Trek 7000's series hybrid
Trek 850 mtb
Trek 790 hybrid
Centurion road
Dahon Boardwalk
GT Tequesta mtb
GT Saddleback mtb
Cannondale m?500
and others...
