Welcome! Have fun checking out the sub-forums. There are many that focus on Portland-style bicycle lifestyle related things:

Commuting
Utility & Cargo
Living Car Free
Advocacy & Safety (things can get snarky in this one... people get emotional about safety and public policy)

I really enjoy the Classic and Vintage sub-forum. It's more about older bikes like '70's an '80's road bikes than it is about high dollar collectibles, IME (although those are there.) Lots of practical bike talk in there.

The Bicycle Mechanics sub forum has some amazing maintenance and retrofitting advice-- from simple to esoteric. A great resource.

I've enjoyed reading and posting in most areas of this forum. It's my favorite online forum by far, and provided advice and education to make the picture below possible! Enjoy!
