Newbie in South Florida

Hi!,
I'm very new to the cycling world (got my first road bike about 3 months ago and started really riding about a month ago) and I'm loving it! I ride SS fixed on my cheap Nashbar Hounder but it gets the job done more than good enough! I'm getting more into the sport and am going to start doing group rides soon. Right now I have a goal of about 30-40+ miles a week. I still have a lot to learn and I'm learning things everyday!
Cheers!

Welcome to Bike Forums from the Nature Coast (about an hour north of Tampa). Glad you found us. Got pics of the bike?
Stop by the Southeast Regional subforum and say hello to the locals. Lots of FL folks here.

Thanks for the welcome! I'm located about 45 minutes north of Miami. I'll have to check out that sub forum thanks for the heads up!

I just recently took off the wheel reflectors and lowered the stem and have a bunch of other parts currently on the way too.

Nice ride and a great place to pedal as well. Have you been to Shark Valley yet? https://www.nps.gov/ever/planyourvisi...ley-trails.htm It's a great way to see the Everglades and dodge a couple of gators. Welcome to the forum from another North Central Floridian.
