Hi from Katy, TX
We moved to Texas from Louisiana about 2.5 years ago. I've always had a mountain or road bike, but haven't always been an enthusiastic rider. That changed a year ago when I decided to get back on the road bike and ride the BP MS150 (again). Last year I rode 1700 miles and lost about 15 pounds and would like to continue the trend this year.
I signed up again this year and look forward to seeing more of Texas from my bike.

Haha... I just "found" that ride a week or so ago. Next (this) year it will be starting at the new high school, about a mile from my house!

Yeah, all of those rides out of Katy Mills are on my "home turf." Lots of nice bike friendly roads on the west side of town. I could literally ride a century right from my front door (if I wanted to!). I guess that is part of the reason I've gotten back on the bike and stayed on. It's very encouraging to see hundreds of fellow cyclists on the roads every weekend.
