Hello, thawing out from Toronto

Heya, I'm about 3 years into being a "serious"-year round commuting cyclist. Currently I have a 2012 Specialized Sirrus Expert Disc. It's come a long way and after it's third winter (this past one super brutal), it's time for some major tuning up. Hope to learn lots and share what I learn. I typically take my bike to Duke's in Toronto, I think they're fantastic, and have great service, but for the amount of work that needs done. I need take on as much work as possible, otherwise I might as well buy a new bike!

If you post your questions and concerns in Commuting or Classic & Vintage or Bicycle Mechanics, people will educate you. You will become a good mechanic in less time than you expect. You'll save money and feel good about it, and your bike will run better because there won't be delays before the repairs are needed.
