Noob from Pearland, Texas
Hello all, my name is Scott. I am new to the forum and new to road biking. I just acquired a Motobecane Mirage Pro and am excited to get into road biking. Through lurking, I have discovered that the Motobecane bikes seem to get mixed reviews. But, I am a disabled vet on a fixed income and can't afford a new or name brand bike. Any suggestions for a noob on this bike would be greatly appreciated. Hope everyone is well and thanks in advance.

Welcome to BF. I live in Kingwood. Until last week I rode a Motobecane Le Champion CF. It is the best riding bike I have had. I never had a problem with the Motobecane. Your model may be different. Enjoy the road and your new bike. If you are looking for rides in Texas visit my website's calendar. Texbiker.net.

Good groups you could get with are the Pearland Cycling Club Pearland Cycling Club - Home Page and the Space City Cycling Club SCCC History and Contact Information - Bike Barn - Houston, Texas:. They have club rides and will help you hone your biking skills. Houston Cycling Club is on Meetup.com and they have weekly rides but are further away from Pearland.
