Hello from Milan, ITA

Hello everyone,
Matteo, 42 from Milan (yes, Bianchi's birthplace!).
Been riding all sorts of bikes since I was a child (foldables, cross, BMXs, road, MTB, tourers..) and since then never parting from them (thanks to my parents who kept them in the first place and to a personally developed rejection in selling bikes after), I now find myself with a quite odd bike collection, most of them steel-framed, to which I'm continuously adding new pieces.

I felt the urge to register to your community trying to give a date and possibly a name to a Bianchi bike I recently bought as a city commuter, which got my attention for some oddities, at least comparing it with the more common "Celestes" that we find here: I shall present it in the right place (thread: Classic & Vintage - Bianchi serial number Identification, where I saw there are some serious connoisseurs!)

Another overseas link being a Schwinn Traveler frame of a massive 69 C-C (in centimeters) measure that I got from ebay germany ( But must Have been of an USA citizen, given the "City of Milwaukee Bicycle registration 1982" sticker on it) and I want now to rebuild.

Well, thanks to welcome me in your community and looking forward to some nice exchanges!

Hello and welcome to BF. I'm sure the members in Classic and Vintage will want to hear about the rest of your collection too!

To err is human. To moo is bovine.

Who is this General Failure anyway, and why is he reading my drive?
