Hello from New Zealand
My cycling background includes XC Mtb racing with some minor success at national age group level, road racing as a means to increase fitness but really enjoy it, lots of backcountry riding, lots of backcountry bikepacking including 1100km Brevet. I've just got my first CX bike and looking forward to my 2nd season of CX racing (the first I did on my SS MTB in the open class).
I find these forums very informative and entertaining.
