Tour of a life time
My father is half way done with a 3 year probation has been changing him for the better. We have to decided to celebrate his freedom 2 years from now with a bike tour starting from Fort Worth, TX to Plant City, FL (next to Tampa, FL) to see old family and friends. (He will be going that length, I might keep going north). I've done some overnighters and have an decent rig (Surly Cross Check with rear Arkle bags) and he doesn't have a rig yet. Actually just got his first bike (a single speed flip-flop hub). He's an active runner and incredibly excited about doing all this. As am I due to this has been a dream of mine for long time now.
So, I am here to ask advice and gain knowledge from first hand people about our routes, what to expect, diet, physical, rig, etc. I look forward to getting to know this community.
