Im relatively new to bikes and semi recently built my own simple fixed gear bike. My problem is that after riding my new wheels for about a month, on me rear wheel axle on the drive side i was tightening the bolt that keeps your frame connected to your wheel (outer lock nut i suppose it would be?) the inner what i believe to be a spacer but am now thinking may just be a lock nut, broke. What my question is what exactly cracked and broke? it was whatever nut would be the first one (not the one you tighten to put your wheel on) on the inner part of from where your frame and wheel connect. And where can i purchase a new one? ( also i thought it was a spacer and i was wrong because i tried riding my bike with a spacer now for about a week and the spacer is severely deformed can this hurt my hub or axle)
