Introduction...

Hello;
I've been bitten by the bicycling bug! I Like it! Being over 60 and after several operations, it is a challenge. Especially those hills...
But I keep trying, and hope to get some tips here. This is my first 21 speed bike, and my first Schwinn, sooo it does take some getting used too!
And I got permission....from the wife. Thank You
Rob

Hey Rob,

Started road riding at 65.

Go slow and keep it FUN.

Ask for help when you have a problem.

Welcome Rob. I'm 69 and on my ... er ... uh ... hmm ... seems I've lost track of how many bikes I've had since I started back at it in 1999.
The Schwinn is just the start. You'll be on a $2000+ road bike in no time and those hills will be just a bump in the road. :thumb:

When you're ready, head over to a few bike shops and test ride all the bikes that appeal to you. Let us know what you get. :)

Welcome to BF! Speaking for the >68yo arthritic set... Watch out for the broken glass. It’s harder to see coming up on you these days. I think the pieces are smaller than they used to be!
