Hello from Norfolk

Hi all. New rider here! I haven't been on a bike for about 20 years but bought myself a cheap road bike last weekend. I'm really enjoying a ride each night after work. Kind of wish already I had spent a bit more and got a better bike as I'm finding a few things that are annoying me with a cheap o! Anyway, how many miles do you all think I should be aiming for to start out? I don't want to over do it but want to make it worth while. Cheers

Hello and Welcome to Bike Forums.

I started with five mile rides..Rest then Five more.

Did 80 laps one day around the block, 5 miles at a time for 40 miles.

Keep it fun.

You First Bike is a Learning Bike....but you already know that.

if the parts are cheap or embarrasing, you can always buy a trendy singlespeed.
