New Kid at School
Hey Everyone,
Excited to join the forum and get deeper into the cycling world! My name is Matt and I live in San Francisco. After my inherited and undersized Fuji was stolen, I was fortunate enough to come across a 1970s Dawes Galaxy at the Alameda flea market, and now one thing is leading to another and I'm starting to fall in love with working on bikes! I ride to and from work every day, and where I live in the city, I'm required to go up all kinds of hills! The bike needs some more work, and I'm having a lot of fun finding out its quirks and getting to that stage where I'm not settling for bad service or low grade parts and I want to get my hands in and really learn everything there is to know about what I like. I'll be searching the threads for any tips on riding techniques and overall repair and maintenance. Thanks for your patience!
