Hello from Florida
Complete newbie here, looking to get into road biking.
I've always loved to walk and hike, but continued complications with plantar fasciitis have me looking at wheeled options.
Age related complications and prior injury sure have a way of catching up with ones lifestyle.
It's a pleasure to be here and am looking forward to many hours of learning. Many questions to follow.....

Welcome.
I started riding again when I developed plantar fasciitis. It helps so much. Now I only have pain first thing in the morning and never on the bike.

I am 55, and in great shape other that the feet and an old neck injury that prevents me from full turn to the left. I'm already researching mirrors!
The short time I have been lurking here has already been very insightful. Due to a lack of play money, my budget is rather small, so used is more than likely the way I will go.
Have found several great buys on CL but want to absorb as much knowledge as possible before I purchase.
