Bike Forums - Hi there

Hi All

Thought I sign up...Been a while since I was on a bike..back was a problem, but just pulled my old no name but Cinelli BB and Sante Groupset road bike out of the basement. It's been there since pretty much forums didn't exist!

It's a lovely bike so thought I'd strip it down, clean it up and maybe start thinking about respraying the frame and forks??..it's got a fair few chips from riding it way back..but thought I'd double check the ins and outs before any drastic action.

Plus I've just got hold of a Carrera Corsa 14..?? Frame Reynolds 653, Forks 708??...it's been stripped, badly resprayed and needs quite a bit of a rebuild but the frame's got no dinks and the forks are good (struggling to release the bar stem though and the headset's seriously stuck/ won't unscrew...but it was cheap and I wanted a half decent but "expendable" London traffic bike that will inevitably be subjected to bad drivers and light fingers).

Need to get at least one back on the road..getting older and fatter..need to loose some weight!

Forums wise bit new..So hello and anyone direct me to where's the best place to post for advice on the Cinelli/Sante??
