Getting back into it
Hi, I just signed up here tonight. I hail from deep South Texas and I haven't ridden a bike in about 20 years. I haven't bought yet and I came by for advice on a purchase. I'll be lurking for a while till I'm ready to ask questions. Thanks for reading.
Sam.

Hey Sam,
Welcome to Bike Forums.
Visit local bike shops and figure out your size.
Go used for the first bike. It will be a learning bike.
Get in shape before getting a new one.

Austin is 5 hours from me, I am from Harlingen, like 5 miles from the border. I have checked the local craigslist and haven't found anything I like or can really use unfortunately. I was acually loooking at a couple of bikes from Wal-Mart (i know, I know) based on price and then have a few biking friends looking it over to make sure its ok.
