Hi :)
I'm Eric, from Southern Illinois. Been slow lately and looking to get back up to at least 25 mile tours.

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone. I'm slow because I'm on a blood pressure cocktail that really saps the power out of me. So far a five mile trip across town and the same back later is my ride. At 45 I'm a bit worn down... Still love the open air! I'd like to make one more long ride before I just can't anymore; 180 miles or so from my hometown of Danville, Il to my residence in Mt. Vernon. I have faith in my trusty 87 Schwinn Traveler to carry me but need much planning and training. Figure three day tour.

Hi Eric, welcome, I'm an "new" cyclist too, returning after 20 years off. I am painfully slow and still wobbly but all we have to do is hang in there and practice. Good luck and keep us posted.
