Hello from the Sunshine Coast Ausralia

Hi BikeForum ! I have pretty much ridden bikes all my life (44 years ) but got realy serious about 2 and a half years ago to get rid of the middle age spread and dropped 12 kgs in no time .I'm in to XC MTB and have a sadistic side that loves climbing in my training rides .I live at the foot of a mountian range and my regular most day ride includes an 8 km climb winding ( grind )up the range .Stangely enough I love it ,coming back down railing the corners at speed is pretty fun too .My current steads are 2013 Specialized Stumpjumper 29r for the trails ,my training bike is a Scott Scale hardtail 29r plus I have a GT Karakoram that I am currently converting into a single speed which is how I come to find this great forum with all the the great advice that I was looking for for this project .I also have a great interest in bike packing and are trying to gear up for some great adventures here in Oz .See you in the threads !

Hey wheels

Thanks for the welcome ,being flat around Texas you must like to get in top cog and just crank?

What bike do you ride ?
