New from Orange County
Greetings from Orange County CA. I was a high school bike racer and bike shop mechanic in the 1970s (in Rhode Island) - rode a Peugeot UO-8.
I just picked up a couple craigslist bikes to start riding again. Came across the forum when looking for some info on the bikes and mechanical issues. What great information and advice!

Thanks- I've been looping on Hicks Canyon, Peters Canyon Wash, San Diego Creek - really liking the dedicated trails. Also noticed the extensive street sweeping (to prevent stormwater pollution) really keeps the debris off the side of the road, when I have to venture off the dedicated trail.
