Just got on here.

I am a weekend cyclist. I live in upstate SC and have the Blue Ridge Parkway not too awful far away. I also have plenty of scenic roads to ride on around here. I have completed the Assault on Mt. Mitchell 3 times.

Back in 1968, I got one of the first Schwinn Orange Krates to come out. Over the last couple of years, I have acquired most of the original parts to rebuilt an original. As I get into areas like the headset and crankset, I will probably be seeking some advice from some of you folks.

Hello from "north of the border" welcome. I always wanted an orange crate but my dad wouldn't spring for it, he bought me an old huffy knock off, put a k mart banana seat on it and spray painted it orange.
