DC area cyclist

Hello, all,

I'm a long-time cyclist finally getting more serious about road riding. Started as a mountain biker several years ago, but now that I live in the city, I spend 90% of saddle time on the road bike.

Currently living in Alexandria, VA and riding an Austro-Daimler Vent Noir II and a Novara Ponderosa 29er. On the lookout for a lightweight rocket to tear it up on next season as well as a team or group to ride with.

Hey MrRodgers, Welcome to BF!! I am glad to find someone else bought their bike at REI. I was starting to think I was a weirdo for going there to pick up a bike on sale~!!! Let us know (on the appropriate forum category) what rocket you settled on. Ride lots!!!
