Yo! from Philly..
Yo! From Philly. I just moved to the East Falls section right by the Kelly Drive river trail - the perfect place for biking in the city!
I dove right in and began riding 11 miles each way to work in South Philly and so far it's been MORE reliable than driving.... I never have to worry about getting stuck in traffic and punching the clock late!
I ride an old(ish) inexpensive Schwinn hybrid bike and it seems to serve me just fine, although it is a bit on the heavy side and in need of work in order to shift reliably.
Looking forward to learning from a few things.....
