Old road bike rider switching over to hybrids with advancing age and skills

Cut my teeth on CANNONDALE road bikes doing triathlons and centuries. I live in Florida, so most of my riding is on the flats with a straight block. Got out of it while doing service for my country and let age creep up on me. Back on two wheels for exercise and health. I have chosen the hybrid series as my platform for a few personal reasons. I do have the riding experience and mechanical knowledge, but am always seeking more. Looking forward to conversations on this forum and meeting like kind.

Welcome to Bike Forums from west central Florida.
Advancing age???? I'm almost 70 and love my road bikes.
Stop by the 50+ forum and say hello to the other old timers. And check out the Southeast Regional subforum too. Lots of us FL folks on here.
