Back on a bike after 40+ years
Hi everyone: I've re-discovered bikes this year, it all started last spring when the lady friend suggested we air-up the bikes in her garage and take a ride, I had forgotten how much fun bikes are! The next week-end I found a Sears Free Spirit ladies 3-speed for $20, needed new tires and tubes but everything else was just clean and lube. We were enjoying our bike rides and I was needing a better bike, after some research and window shopping I bought my Electra Townie 7D - bright red. I've ridden my Townie more than 1,100 miles since July and will ride whenever the roads are dry this winter. Happy Trails.

Welcome to the Forum. I also used to be a commuter about 37 years ago and have just begun riding again. You're right, it's fun again after all those years. Enjoy the Forum.
