Head Injury Amazing Story

Living on a Mountain Top is nice but people need water to survive. On the way to an water meeting I had a deer bounce out in front of me while I was riding a Yamha YZ450F. In 1/2 a second I swerved right then left. Reacting, then missing. I saved the dder's life and it almost took mine. As it kicked away, the right rear leg caught the rubber front wheel and knocked it sideways. This raised the rear of the bike off the ground 4 feet, slung my right leg into the rear wheel, revved the engine super high and slammed me into the road, with no helmat. I got my hand off the throttle and in front og my face. It helped some but not much. The impact broke my back, my face in 10 places, extrude my eyes and tore my poor brain loose on both sides. I laid there until someone went for walk and saw me. It took many hours to get an ambulance up there, get my poor wife over there to set by me, get to the local hspital etc. The bleeding was coming out of my head from my stomach. The local hospital told my wife they couldn't do anything to save her husband so they called a helicopter. It flew me 100 miles away and she had to drive up there...thinking the worse...and finally arrived to a comatose basketball sized head husband in intensive care, not likely to make it. I did. As I reprogrammed my GPS system so I could stand and look up without falling into a shaking mess, it was shown to me how my wife was expanding under her chest. We checked this all out and she needed to have a volleyball cyst removed. As I am healing we drove early to the same hospital and ended up hitting a deer at 85 MPH. This broke the front of the truck but we both survived without getting spun off the road. The next week while I drove to visit everyday, the truck still had lights etc. and wiggled OK. Poor Shari. She needed surgery to duplicate the same operation because it remotely, could turn into cancer. She had to have the same thing done all over again. Another volleyball cyst was removed on Thanksgiving along with her spleen and 1/2 of her pancreas. She and I survived without money for a year in the house we designed and built. Things are sytarting to move again and we both saw the Irnie Irvin head injury efforts on TV. This is how I looked into your web site. He was listed as the subject. We have pictures that me sick to the stomach but you would never know by seeing us inperson because it is hidden well. We can speak on helmets and injury and how to keep going. Our wheel business is patented and maybe it will grow well in the racing world where I lost many friends to the exact same injuries.

I hope fortune and good times for you and your wife.
Thanks for writing, hearing about people having strength to overcome hardships helps me have courage to do things I have to.
