Here from Seattle Area intro

Did a lot of biking as a kid and through college and got back into biking about 30 years later. The biking has helped me to lose 42 pounds on the way to my goal of losing 60 pounds. I was pathetic 5 months ago, and now I am just kind of slow. But, my goals are pretty simple.... make it to the end and back in one piece. One nice part is that the kids are all out of the house and I can now afford cool bikes. Love my kids, don't get me wrong, but five kids limited the budget for a bit of time

Don't worry about being slow. We have a saying "No matter how slow you go, you're still lapping everyone on the couch". Congratulations on the 42 already lost, and welcome to the community!
