I've been biking on my own for about 10 years now for exercise and purchased a Scwinn 1980's model road bike as I started to become more serious about racing. I've signed up for my first race this summer, a 30 miles race consisting of five laps of six miles each. I'm looking to purchase a racing bike that will give me a fair chance during the race and have very little experience in this department and would really appreciate some recommendations. I'm 20, 5 foot 11 inches, 175 lbs. thanks!
