Junior Cyclist (HELP)
Hello my name is Nicholas Landy,
Currently living in Atlanta, Georgia. I am coming from competitive running, threw out the weeks I have been told that I have young talent and skill for the sport that I have entered. "I have the engine" for competition. I just recently purchased my Scott CR1 20 and love it so far! I've been riding for a little over a month riding with my local shop group rides. Staying with the top A group guys averaging a 20-23 mph pace. Guys have been telling me to look into racing and I have no clue where to start my first race. If anyone has feedback or recommendations that would be great!

Don't any of those in the groups race ?
Call various shops and look for other group rides that have more racers.
Look up club/team info and "getting started" on the CUSA Cycling USA site.
