Sprint wattage
Trying to find good information about wattage for track training. In specific what is ideal to train to achieve. Such as average wattage for 400m and 1000m. (Sustained wattage)

That being said, if you are a junior, or U23 you can get a lot of power gains in the weight room/gym. Likely more than what you could get by riding alone.
W/kg is less important on the track than pure watts - you likely know that.
And I'm going to guess on Watts.
Training you want to go less time and more power. So if you need ~600 for about 1min/1k for the race, I'd look at intervals in the 1,000W range. Distance and time is less important than the power.
