Trailer Tires

I need a new set of trailer tires for my Burley Nomad. The only problem is, there're hard to find. At 16+1.2 it's a bear to find. The LBS doesn't sell them any more. Few mail order places sell them so what should I do? Where do you get your tires from?

Order you tires from one of the mail order places that you did find. How many mail order houses do you need before you can order a set of tires from one of them?

Is there a reason you can't use 1.25" 1.35" or 1.5" or 1.75" tires on the Burley trailer? Because there's an abundance of those. I would go for the Schwalbe Marathon Plus in 16x1.35 unless the extra 15 hundredths of an inch (about 2mm extra width on each side) is too much. I had some trouble with the original size tires rubbing the canopy on my Trek bike trailer, but they just needed a little fiddling and adjustment. If 1.35" is too wide, then I'd go with Schwalbe Kojacks in 1.25".
