As Roody has correctly pointed out, NOT to the motorists. We know you don't give a fig about them, but that doesn't change the truth.

To refresh my memory, we were talking about club cyclists slowing down motorists by riding on a narrow, busy road--even though there is a cycle path paralleling the road. I can see how some motorists would be miffed by that.

But what if the fast club cyclists did take to the cycle path? It seems like they would then be miffed by the slower cyclists who use the path. Conversely, the slower cyclists might be alarmed or even harmed by the "predatory pelotons" of club cyclists whizzing by them on a fairly narrow cycle path.

No matter what facilities are installed, there are going to be conflicts between different classes of road users or path users. Whatever are we to do about this?

This suggestion is just to start up B. Carfree's motor for today. Summary execution of all club cyclists and/or cyclists who wear lycra shorts/bibs in public would be a start. They annoy everybody except their own ilk, no matter where they "train."
