I'm new to this sub-forum, though I've seen some of you on others.
I'll be doing the sportive version of this ride. If any of you have done it, I'd appreciate any tips you might pass along.
For those unfamiliar with it, it's a 206-mile (330 km) ride with ~8700 ft (2800m) of elevation, with almost all of the climbing in the first half. It goes from Logan, Utah to Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
I'm not concerned with the climbing but am concerned with the effects of altitude on my antediluvian sea-level self. Especially during the second half.
Thanks!

the altitude will be a barrier, that's for sure. I have driven in that area, it seems really remote
