La Marmotte Ultra
Hi,
Has anyone had any experience of riding the Ultra Marmotte?
I know it's only been out a couple of years so won't be many, hard to find any write ups online from people who have done it.
I have ridden the 'normal' Marmotte 5 years ago and the Tour du Mont Blanc 4 years ago plus Mallorca 312 and a couple of Dragon Ride Devils so the distance doesn't worry me but just curious to see if anyone had done it and what it was like.
I imagine setting off in a smaller group there is a slightly different atmosphere, less riders to work with on the valley section etc.
Thanks.

I am familiar with La Marmotte VO from I guess 38 years ago and as I take it, in the last year the Ultra Version lets you go two times on l'alpe d'huez. So instead of 180 km and 15,000 feet of climbing, I guess it is 220km and 20,000 feet or something like that. I'd love to do it. I think another Brit, PeterHelsinki on this forum might have done it. Sorry, I haven't
