Looks fun

Just a few comments on the ride.
1) The route is about 320 kms long, rather than the "usual" 300 kms. This allows riders to get a double century out of it, and makes up for the fact that there are no significant climbs.
2) That said ... there's about 10 kms of flat stuff out there. The rest is all rollers of various shapes and sizes ... undulating ... small hills ... whatever you'd like to call them. 300 kms of up and down.
3) Although the photos may not show much of a windbreak, there are actually a lot of trees on the route. If you've got a headwind though, you might be fighting that a bit, but if there's a crosswind, in most places you shouldn't have much of a battle ... or at least not an extended battle.
4) And you'd have to keep an eye out for the hail. Yet another reason to wear a helmet.
