Help needed, post first century ride
Im new but need your help. My buddy and I just did our first century today, 105.6 in 5:54. My femur is sore as I type this and it is really worrying me. Has anyone experienced this? Just one leg..Also, we had to stop for about 20min due to a powerful storm and when I continued riding my knee was killing me. I think its my IT band from tightening when we stopped..again, any advice or experience?? thank you!

It sounds like you need to get your fit checked. Did you have a fit done when you got your bike?

does sound like IT trouble. Stretching and self-myofascial release (the foam roller thingy) help a lot with this type of problem. Of course, I would check my fit too.

My femur is sore
In the context of "all day" on drop-bar bicycle - back issues are certainly worth getting some attention. Talk to some one about all your pains -and how they first started.
