Thanks for posting. I had a friend who lived just south of the shooting range you mentioned. when i read that section of the ride report it brought back

Missed your great report the first time around. The Marin Century is one of the best organized rides in this area; your pics and blog really due justice to the scenery. Wife and I did the 100K on the tandem and were please to avoid a wrong turn which led to a 95 mile ride last year (don't ask). We're fortunate in the Bay area to have so many great rides to choose from.
