seems like the perfect light for LD: B&M Luxos

I don't know if I'm ready to spring $400 for a headlight, but it looks pretty nice. USB charging, high/low beam, dyno powered

Cletus loves to hit you with the high beam when it's too late to respond.

For those in the US, Peter White Cycles says they should have them in around February 2013, at a cost of about $220.

Richard, thanks for that, that's a really good price considering the prices I've seen in Euros have been nearly twice that. He also says they will have a 15mm through axle SON dynohub, which is good news for mountain bikers. Maybe I should occasionally read his "what's new" page.

If I am interpreting things correctly, it looks like you have to get the more expensive model (the one with the USB port) to get the 90 lux high beam and the handlebar switches. The basic model is single beam only (at 70 lux).

I saw a site that had these listed, and it did appear that to get 90 lux you need to get the expensive one. I think the usb charger port would be worth the extra expense

I told my wife about this, and her response was "Cool!". My daughter's response was "Wow! Another $500 toy!"

Won't they be surprised when I tell them how much money I save!
